Kids Wall Decor - Help Designing Your Kids Room

In today's market there are so many things that you can do to decorate a child's room that the possibilities are endless.  Also, with a little imagination you can create some of the most unique things and they would be one of a kind or things to pass along as your child grew up and left and had their own family.  We always try and make their room "homey" a place they want to be and a place they know they can go to and feel safe.  You bedroom should be a place not only to sleep but a place to dream and to imagine how things will be as you grow up.

Some of the decorating techniques used range from kid's wall art, where they create their own and hang it in their room or wall decals that can be placed to create a scene out of television with special characters or fantasy land.  Then you have kid's wall clocks that have come so far I wish they had them when I was a child.  You can decorate around them or use them as a side piece to coordinate the colors or be creative and have a mural painted and add to it as the child grows.  There are always wooden or ceramic letters that can personalize a room or help teach them the alphabet and their colors.

Kid's wall lamps are a nice feature and do not always have to go on the bureau and when they are used on the wall they can become a conversation piece if you purchase a unique design for the child's theme in their room.  For example, if it's a little boy you may have the baseball as the face of the clock and the baseball bat as a swinging pendulum.  Something like this would also complete the look for the room.  So, next time you are looking for decorating ideas don't always go straight for the paint.  If you do then try and mix it up with another color so you have options to use decals and stickers or some of the other ideas mentioned throughout this article.
