Kids Wall Stickers

One of the decorations for children's rooms that I always found interesting was the kid's wall stickers.  What was nice about them is when they are toddlers you can actually set a wall to be the alphabet, a color chart and a even a counting table.  You can build a set of blocks with shapes and have the child's favorite animal or cartoon mixed in on the wall as a distraction piece.  With wall stickers you are able to change the wall stickers to meet the learning needs of the child.  Another nice feature of wall stickers is you can coordinate the colors and have them bright or neutral.  You can mix and match them and you can purchase coordinating pieces to go with them to complete the theme.

Ask your child what they like if they are old enough to help with the decisions.  If not, then stick with what you have chosen as their characters and elaborate on the decorating with the kid's wall stickers.  There are various websites that offer these products and they are easy to find and you can find some that are inexpensive too.  Once you find out how easy it is to do you may find yourself changing the designs as they grow older to fit their personalities and age group.  It can be refreshing to redesign a kid's room and with stickers you can bring the moon and the stars inside.

To give you an idea of some of the stickers you would be able to use it can be anything from little stars to a giant size "Minnie Mouse" to "Optimus Prime Transformer" that you could design around to make the picture complete.  If the child was younger you could use something more on the line of "Thomas the Train" or a big Dump Truck.  These are a few examples to show you that anything or there are many designs out there to choose from and you may find them in a local store too.  The goal here is to let you know that it is not hard to do and it may even be something you enjoy and you may move on and try something different in another room using the same techniques.
